Cleda & Irene,   I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our visit and admire the work that you are

doing.  We came back and shared our experience with the rest of the team.  Everyone is

ommitted to helping you on an ongoing basis.  I have outlined below projects that we would

like to undertake on your behalf.  a.  35 preschool children - we are confident that we can

provide every child with a new blanket, a zip hoodie, hat, mittens and a toy.

b.  Another food drive for the back packs.  We are going to do a food drive at our local grocery

stores.  In order to be approved to be onsite we need a copy of your IRS Determination Letter

confirming your 501 c3 status

We will be at the store and hand out a flyer listing the food items for donation. We will have

a box so that purchased items can be donated as they leave the building.  I will make a flyer

and send for your approval so that we are accurate on what we are handing out.  We hope to

be able to fill another van with food items.      c.  We would like to partner up with Mr. Smith

for ease of delivery of food.  Can you provide his email or phone number for us to contact?

jim.smith.nine@insightbb.com   d.  One of the employees belongs to a Super Couponing group

(like you see on TV)  She will focus on getting you coupons for Juice boxes that can be used

at Dollar General.  This should help you save money when purchasing the juice boxes.

She is also going to ask the group that she belongs to donate excess items they currently have

through their couponing efforts. THIS IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!  e.  GRANT WRITING  - I am so excited

about this opportunity.  Nancy Nolan - email nnolan@scholastic.com  She is our grant writing

and has offered to write grants for you on the weekends.  You can reach out to her directly with

ideas on the types of grants you would like her to research and apply for.  She is wonderful and

has a high win rate. She will need detailed information from you concerning the organization

but you can work with her directly.   She can write grants for the Back Pack Program, you

general food bank work and your work to provide meals to seniors.
f.  Do you need a sub pump for the building?  We have one that a Hardware Store will donate

if you have someone to install it.  Or the owner will reach out to suppliers in KY that she works

with (Yes, a woman owning and running our local hardware store!) and request donation of

materials for your railing on the front of the building. Please let me know exactly what you

need and she will make calls to see if we can get it donated.
g. You wish list - In addition to the immediate need for food and gifts for the holidays what

else do you need?  We have a printer that was donated that we will send in the next shipment.

What else do you need?  Do you need printing donated for flyers or brochures about the

Outreach?  Do you need a brochure designed that you can use at fundraising events or when

speaking to groups about your work?  (We have professional designers that are happy to

volunteer to help.)
We were able to pick 26 dogs up at the Menifee County Animal Shelter on our way home.

Several have already found new homes!  We are also helping Rowan County Back Pack Program

and providing Toys for 100 kids for the holidays.  Have you worked with Wanda who runs that

program?
Our goal is to bring another load of food and the gifts for the 35 Preschoolers
