The volunteers across American came together to encourage other along with them to vote on a Walmart Face Book page to vote for OCOC
to be able to win a $20,000, grant from Feeding America

We will help in a time of need whether it is for food, clothing, or other short term needs, while preserving Dignity and Pride.
Volunteers are welcome to come work at outreach, home repairs, vacation Bible school in the park, etc.

A Reminder Of Why We Do What We Do
It is because of the kids and families in Owsley County.
The Backpack program sends filled bags home each weekend with seven easily prepared meals and two or three snacks with students. These children have been identified by teachers and school Resource Center personnel as having little or no food over the weekends, based on their hunger for breakfast at school on Monday at 7:30am.

Our thanks goes out to the Family Resource Center that work with use to get these Food Back Packs out.
A donation of $5.00 will fill a backpack and that will feed a child for a weekend. If you want to donate items of food yourself we need, visit our Needs page.
with out food donation our cost would be $7>50 per child.
